I'm horrible, I forgot i had this until I heard about Dez singing and I wanted to see it, but I missed the performace on... that show... shoot I forget the name, it's on at 3pmish I think. I don't always catch it cause I'm driving from job #1 to job #2.
A lot of new things going on, but right now the big thing coming up is WICKED!!! I got my tickets way back when and I will be there Tuesday night row C practically dead center :) and the tix were under 100 each. I'm going with my friend Megan and we are so excited. I've been listening to the soundtrack since January and I'm not sick of it yet.
Well it's past my bed time, so I wish everyone a great week & don't forget to vote. I'm determined to be the first one in line at 7am :)
It's been a crazy week. My full time job is going back to full time after labor day since basically my entire staff is now gone, due to school being back in session. I'll have help on weekends, but it's back to I run the show, even though it's not my company. I really liked being a student better than an adult. With the RNC coming to town we are getting so many last minute requests that are just honestly annoying, they've had how many MONTHS to plan things out and now the week before they just expect us to drop what we're doing and come and give them what they need. Not to mention having to live so close to the main staging of the RNC, I am one unhappy Democrat.
On to happy news, I get to FINALLY get to the fair on Sunday. Everyone, presumptious anyone even looks at this, must come on sunday, not only for KS95 and their car give-a-way, but the University of Minnesota Marching Band will be making their debute in the 2:00pm parade. Half of the kids marching just started on Tuesday, the veterans start back today. They work their arses off, so please come support the band! Go GOPHERS!
I am working two jobs currently, don't know if I already posted that, and I'm exhausted after a night like tonight where we had a rush for over 3 hours non stop. Yet I'm still up watching the olympics. It's like a drug, which apparently makes people crave Chinese food. I work at my uncle's resturant and one customer made the comment about how she's been watching the olypics and craving Chinese food. I'm greatful that we're getting the business, but seriously why must it pour when it rains? It's a feast or famine.
So who's giving away the Wii and who gets it? Just wondering :)
I haven't been on here for a while, a lot of stuff going on. I worked all of last week; this summer my hours got cut at my full time job, so I have only been in 3 days a week rather than 5 days a week. I'm currently looking for a new job that's closer to home. Driving from St. Paul to Eden Prairie is starting to take a toll on my back and wallet.
I didn't get a chance to donate to KS95's stuff the bus, however we had a collection at church so I donated to church. I wish I could do more, but money seem to be getting tighter and tighter.
Currently just watching the olympics and avoiding going to bed, lol. Hope everyone else is enjoying the rain, I love when it rains.
Oh one last note I missed NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK @ MOA on Friday. So if anyone has any pictures please please please post them. I have been in love with Jordan since I was 8 years old. I had to work all day friday since my entire crew was off that weekend, stupid fluke in the schedule and all of my friends were out of town or busy. I've waited forever to see them and they were only 20 minutes from me and I couldn't see them :(
So I got up after sleeping in and getting more than 5 hours of sleep in one night and I sign on to my Club95 page. The first thing I notice is that I don't have Pop can on my friend list, so I figured maybe I didn't click him, I knew I needed to friend him if I want to win the Wii, but it's like all of a sudden he's gone, not even listed on the KS95 On Air page. Please don't tell me he left too!
So far it started when Van left, which was understandable, then one day I wake up to discover Cheryl was gone and then Ben & Merideth, followed by Producer Keith, and now POP CAN. Seriously IF anything happens with Moon & Stacy or Dez I don't know if I'll be able to keep listening to KS95.
Don't get me wrong I love this station, it's my first pre-set button on my car radio, but it's for the music and catching star gossip from Dez and Smarter that Stacy and ofcourse the BHQ.
Okay enough whining, I know times change, people change, and so do radio stations. By the way does anyone know what happend to Popcan?
Can you believe Friday is the one year anniversary of the bridge, and to have the Maryland Ave. Bridge have a section fall, that just freaks me out because that is my bridge, it's the closet entry/exit on to 35E for me. I pray for all of the familys that lost loved ones that day and for those who survived and for those who aided those in need. My best friend's dad had just made it over the bridge before it fell behind him. My other friends had just driven under it and missed it falling on them just barely.
Time to get stuff done before work. Enjoy the weather ;)
So I of course signed up for Club 95 cause I want to win the Wii, but then I realized how much more you can do on here so I'm going to slowly work on my little space. I've already posted some pictures from this years Race for the Cure.
Speaking of Race for the Cure, thank goodness I got my picture with Keith, I didn't realize he was leaving until his last day! Good luck to him. My best friend and I always got a picture with him each year we did Race for the Cure because he was on our bus our first year and he is just a great guy... okay and cute too. Yes I know he is married and I am happy for him and his wife, but he's still cute :)
I did just try to upload a video, shaving Moon's head the morning of Race for the Cure, but it just gave me the waiting signal and then it said web page not availble, blah blah blah. Then I tried it again and it just kept going and going and going, yes like the energizer bunny. So if anyone reads this, can someone help me out on how to upload the video please.
Alright time to get some sleep, keeping my fingers cross for the Wii. The last time I owned a video game console is the Nintendo 64, which actually I still have, but I am more interested in doing more work out stuff than sitting on my rear.
