About Me: I'm from CA, grew up in St. Paul, went to school in SD and Minneapolis. I work in a group home and I'm thinking of Nursing school. I'm the trivia queen of pop culture. I know a little about everything and a lot about nothing. I'm barely 5'2' and I'm comfortably squishy.
Hobbies: Listening to music of course! Drawing; painting; reading; watching tv and movies; playing super mario 3; dancing; and everything else that's not going to get me hurt. I love to play sports but I'm too competitive and end up getting tackled and/or smacked around a little more than normal. I'm kind of dainty.
Favorite Artists: I could go on forever I guess, but my top five feel good songs as of late are some "oldies" such as; "Crazy" by Aerosmith, "Wake me up before you go-go" by WHAM, "Somebody to love" by Queen, "Sideways" by Citizen Cope, and "Love Shack" by The B52s. None are in order, but I love these songs.
Favorite Song on KS95: "Not Meant to be" by Theory of a Deadman
Movies: Don't even get me started! I'm like the human IMDB. You may think it's sad, but when you can't think of the name of that one actor in that one movie who's married to the ugly singer who was in that movie with Kevin Bacon, I'll be there to answer it!

Who gets into a fight at a Hanson concert?!

    Monday, October 6, 2008, 04:04 AM [General]

MEEE!!!! Well...I almost got into a fight. I was able to weasel my short and stout little self closer to the stage. I was passing all the taller girls with their ridiculously taller boyfriends, making small talk with the more obsessed fans and getting pretty craptastic pictures of the other bands. I was having a pretty good time despite the aching feet and rancid smell of sweat and various Victoria's Secret perfumes. I was about ten rows from the stage when Hanson FINALLY went on! Everyone tried to push their way up closer, so I took advantage of the flow and made my up to about the fourth row. Now I wasn't doing the pushing, I was just moving with the crowd. Anybody that's been in the G.A section knows what to expect and how to work with the crowd. I made the "Stop pushing me I'm just a tiny person!" face so whomever I squeezed past wouldn't get too angry and elbow me in the face. I was using that move and I got to my spot in the fourth row. There was a group of three girls in front of me who refused to let anyone get in front of them. I settled in my spot but was still getting pushed into them. They turned around and gave me the stink-eye and turn back around as if to warn me to stay out of their boundary bubble or else. As I was pushed into them again, one of the girls looked me dead in the eye and yelled at me to stop pushing them. Her other friend yelled out that she was getting sick and that everyone "seriously" needed to give her space. The pushing continued, and I was clearly looking like I was being crushed by mounds of tall people yet the girls still turned around and yelled at me. I finally yelled back "look behind me stupid! I'm not trying to push you!" I don't think they heard me. Soon they started elbowing me and pushing me into people. I started shouldering and jabbing them back. Oh how I wish I could have set their overly hairsprayed hair on fire! Eventually they left, and I was free to enjoy the concert without needing to block or throw elbows. I had to leave the area after Hanson performed "MMmBop" because of my feet were killing me. I saw the group of girls at the side and they were eying me down like we had a score to settle or something. I threw them a look and kept on walking. I was ready to pull some hair out and fight dirty, but they never followed me. What a night I had! *sigh* Good times.
