I am delighted to report that I got on the scale this morning and I am down 5 pounds! YAY!  This, despite going on vacation and spending time in airports.  All I am doing is counting calories (1400) daily, doing cardio for at leat 45 minutes a day and not eating any processed foods.  My George Foreman Grill has become my new best friend.  When I don't feel like cooking I grab a Kashi Frozen entree,  They are all natural and pretty good. 

I still can't run but I have been spending quality time on the elliptical machine and still lifting weights with my trainer. 

My 5 pound loss is equivalent to:

  5 of this kitten!

   This bag of sugar! Mmmmmm sugar...

 5 of this Chihuahua!

  This bag of flour!

 This much butter!

 This big lobster!

 This big heavy purse!

Now if I can only get this hamstring to heal!  I have races to run and aggression to release!

GRRR! 

I am thinking about doing accupuncture. 

Anybody else tried that before?

And we're off!!  I couldn't run the race (cuz of my bum leg form the hamstring trouble) but I got to start everybody.

The course was gorgeous and the Bridal Fair was after the race.   I got to split a cupcake with the other gal in the photo.  Yum!

Well, we are back from Austin empty-handed.  It was pretty cool that we were even considered for the Large Market Best Personality Award.  Personally, I think we have no personality but whatever..... 

Here's Billy Bush from Access Hollywood who was our MC.  He started out in radio in sales at a small station and told a disturbing story about dressing up as a woman to persuade a car dealer to buy  commercials.  Creepy.  Billy has very fluffy hair.  He's sorta the Poor Man's Ryan Seacrest (who actually won an award but wasn't there to accept it).

I was just happy that I got to take a plane ride and get all gussied up!  A girl likes to pull out the fancy every now and again. 

Moon had a little trouble.  First he lost his suit, only to find it tucked away at his dry cleaners.  Then, he was silly enough not to try it on before he packed for the trip.  (It must be a guy thing because I try on EVERYTHING to make sure its right before I know I need to wear it.)  Unfortunately he couldn't button the top button of his shirt!  Plus, the poor kid can't tie a tie.  Luckily I can, so I tied it for him and we cranked it up on him so you couldn't tell his shirt wasn't buttoned. 

You know, Tony and I don't have children but sometimes I feel like Moonie is my little toddler!

Here we are graciously accepting defeat.

Saturday from 1:00-3:00, I'll be at Albertville Premium Outlets, in the Promenade Section...take I-94 to exit 202.  Spin the KS95 Prize Wheel for great prizes like a $200 shopping Spree! 

Moon & I will not be on the air Thursday and Friday this week.  (Ryan is filling in while we are away.)  We are traveling to Austin, Texas for the National Association of Broadcasters Awards Dinner.  Believe it or not, our little show was nominated for a Marconi for Best Large Market Personality of the Year!  So, we hope to come back with one of these:

The station itself is up for Legendary Station of the Year too!  We are really excited.  

I got my hair done this morning so now I just have to figure out what I am going to wear!
