Friday night I went to Bunker's in Minneapolis with my husband and a some friends of hours who are getting married soon. There was a band called Orange Whip that the bride wanted to check out. I figured I liked the name already so why not? They were really good! Great musicians with a silly sense of humor. We stayed for the whole show. You wouldn't think the same band could do Johnny Cash and Snoop Dogg in the same night but they pulled it off!

I have to admit, I was very excited about this years election and the history we made no matter who ended up being our new President Elect...BUT if I am so glad the whole thing is over now. Those ads were making me crazy....and I'm sure I am not alone.
My husband and I are putting in a new bathroom in our basement. All we have left to do is have a plumber come over and do his magic to run the pipes from my laundry room. It's tricky and we don't want to try to do it ourselves. If a mistake is made it would be reeeeallllly expensive and messy...so we want to hire it out to a pro and then we'll take it from there. Well, got the first estimate and it was 2 thousand dollars - YIKES! Then we asked for another one...this time it was over $4,000!!!! We almost had a stroke when we opened the email. Are you kidding me??? UGH!
If this radio thing doesn't work out, I'm going to plumber school!
Moon keeps losing his reading glasses. He bought another new pair. It turns out he happened to buy the EXACT SAME PAIR THAT I HAVE! I can't even look at him. Creepy.
Thanks to our Loyal Listeners who joined us on Saturday morning at the Cinemagic Atlantis 15 in Burnsville for our special showing of High School Musical 3. What a gorgeous theater! I hear it will eventually have a restaurant and full bar. The decor is like Atlantis (obviously) and is quite stunning.
The movie was pretty good and I really liked the music a lot. I was pleasantly surprised. I expected to take a cat nap on the sly but I was into it!
I was also pretty happy that Moonie's phone didn't go off in the middle of the movie - rare!
The little cuties in the photo below saved us awesome seats!
Aleigha is the blonde on the left and Hailey is the brunette on the right. (They are BFF.)
