Here's some video from when we were onstage with the Westside Band doing what we will try to describe as "jammin'" with them.  I mastered the maracas!  Moon was working the tamborine.  Fortunately he didn't bring his kazoo!

WOW!  We sure had a good time at Treasure Island.  After we played Bingo and Smarter Than Staci we hung out in the uber-cool Parlay Lounge.  There was an awesome band there.  They are all originally from Westside St. Paul so the band is called "Westside"

Moon and I got to go backstage and meet them during a break.  Very cool, very talented guys.  They invited us on the stage.  Of course, I got video and photos too!

I was at a G6 Summer Sticker Stop at Larry Reid's in Inver Grove Heights over the weekend.  Some furry friends came along for the fun!

This is Buddy....

These 3 kittens were on their way to the nearby pet store where they would hopefully be adopted.  They were being fostered by one of our listeners for the Last Hope No Kill Shelter.  Five more minutes in my presence and those sweet faces would've come home with ME!  Of course, my husband might have to move out to make room...

I'm still waiting for my iliotibial band to heal and my hamstring to loosen up.  I still can't run yet but next week I should be able to do some walking or some elliptical stuff.  In the meantime I am doing my PT exercises and lifting weights.  I am so surprised at how much physical activity plays into my mood.  Of course, I am an emotional eater too so I tend to go a little crazy.  I have definitely put on a couple of pounds (read: 10!).  It will be interesting at the State Fair if I am not better by then.  I may have to hire someone to knock ice cream cones out of my hand!

I had plaster molds taken of my feet this morning.  I am getting some heavy duty orthodics for my running shoes.  I'm excited to get them. 

Wow, that's a truely "adult" thing to get excited about....orthotics...yay.
