I've been so wiped out and frankly walking the tight rope over a pool of depression lately. Well, I figured out what the problem was! I was not working out for over a week in preparation for metabolic testing. Metabolic testing measures how many calories your body burns just functioning and can also tell you how high your heart rate needs to be to burn fat and sugar. Well, all that lying around bummed me out! My body is used to moving everyday. As soon as the testing was done and I got back into my regular swing again I feel fine. Amazing, huh?
Meanwhile, my new best friend is Curt at Snap Fitness who gave me the test and told me to "slow down and not work out so hard" and I will get in better shape. Done and DONE!

I don't know what the deal is, but I am so tired lately! I can't seem to get enough sleep and I can't stop thinking about my next opportunity to nap. I am turning into my cats! I slept most of the day yesterday and even took a nap this morning! Maybe I am anemic or something. It's all I can do to now put my head down on the keyboard right now.
Over the weekend Moon & I were at Fireside Hearth & Home with the prize wheel. They are changing up their whole store and so all the display furniture and decor was 50 to 75% off. I got an awesome leather recliner! I can't wait to get it home. My husband has to pick it up for me when he is out with his truck. I almost bought a portable gas fire pit too but I was out of room in my trunk (I have a small trunk). I'll probably get that later. They have cool stuff there!
Today I got to host the KS95 Wine Women and Baseball event on the Plaza before the Twins game! It was really fun and the women who attended really had a good time. I'd suggest getting tickets for the next one before the sell out!
We had a YUMMY breakfast of waffles, maple syrup, whipped cream and sprinkles, fresh fruit, cheese, pound cake, a chocolate fountain with goodies to dip, cookies, orange juice and sodas, water, two kinds of wine. (I'm sure there is something I missed.)
There were chair massages from Cich Chiropractic, prizes from Bergstrom Jewelers and they cleaned jewelry too, Kalla Lilly did manicures I believe, Herbergers did makeovers....it was nutty fun! I'm sure I am missing some of the activities just because I didn't get to everything cuz I was so busy.

I thought this was kind of funny. Outside the station doors are these containers for smokers to dispose of their cigarettes. Apparently there was one too many stuffed in there and the whole thing started ablaze and melted!
Boy, I'm glad I don't smoke!
