Like all of us KS95 peeps, I'm just a normal dude, like you (sorry ladies...there are a few ways in which I'm NOT like you...haha!). I hate when "bill time" comes every month. My wife and I clean our own house (which isn't fancy-pants). We drive economical vehicles and did not pay cash up front for them. When we go to ballgames, concerts and clubs we don't roll VIP. BTW, we sat in section 117 row 36 at the Twins home opener...Are ya pickin up what I'm putting down here? Just like you! That's why I still find myself wondering why people would take time out of their busy day to visit my little corner of the WWW. If you're one of them, THANK YOU! I hope to return the favor and read as many of your blogs as possible. I never know what to write about, though. Obviously, my life isn't any more special than yours. So...I took a few phone calls asking what YOU wanted to know...

Sean in Coon Rapids went "Buddy The Elf" on me and wanted to know what my favorite (favOUrite...if your British) color is. It's PERRIWINKLE BLUE!!!

Marlene in Eagan's question's requires a little more hunting and pecking (p.s. I suck at typing!). She thought you might be interested in reading about my travels. Here goes...

My dad is a Lutheran preacher. Him and my mummah are both from the Milwaukee area. When we were growing up, he did stints in Nebraska and South Dakota. So did we go to Worlds Of Fun, Disneyworld or Benson's Animal Farm (BAMF!) like all of my friends (whose extended family all lived within a 1 block radius) did for vacation? Nope. We visited our family in Sconny every summer. I whined, groaned and balled the whole way. I kept it going while I was there too and probably hurt ALOT of feelings, especially my mom's. She was soooo homesick. I regret my childhood actions...but you learn from your mistakes. Family is now my numero uno!

I didn't hop on a plane until I was 22. During my first senior year (ha) at UW-Eau Claire, my buddy, Erik, and I went to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. This blog is not the place for details of our activities!!! But from what I remember, it was very beautiful...and a hot-spot for French speaking Canadiens.

When I first started dating my wife, Sarah, her parents took her and I to Vegas for her 21st birthday. We stayed at The Flamingo and, YES, they got me my own room!!! Oh yeah, Sarah forgot her ID and didn't get to drink all the $1 margaritas at Boardwalk that I did. We went there 3 years later for our first anniversary (stayed at the Aladdin...now Planet Hollywood) and the margaritas were still a buck!

On three separate occassions (make that four in two weeks), Sarah and I have traveled to Sanibel-Captiva, and island off the coast of Ft. Myers, FL (Home of Twins Spring Training). IMHO ("teen text" for In my humble opinion), it's the most gorgeous place in the U.S. The golfing is out of this world! If you ever go there, eat at The Bubble Room. They have the biggest and best desserts you'll ever toss down your hatch!

    That's about it!
