I have a website suggestion for you. Freepeats.org just opened up their Minneapolis forum. It's a place for parents and parents-to-be to unload their gently used items, help their neighbors, and keep their unused things out of the landfills all at the same time!

Basically it's a place where you post gently-used kid, baby, and maternity items you no longer need and use to give away. Also you can pick up (for free) items you may currently need! People who sign up before May 1st get a free lifetime membership, but after that it's like a one-time $5 joiner fee.

Being a new parent myself, and seeing the way the economy is right now (and gas prices, etc.) I just thought this might be a valuable resource for other parents!
