Well I haven't had a cold lately, but what helps me sleep at night is Tylonel PM. I usually have a congested nose.

Vitamin C is always good.

You should get checked for influenza b- if you get tested within 48 hours you can get tamiflu from the doc and it lessens the length and severity!

I have found tremendous luck with Mucinex (an expectorant), for when a cold settles into your chest and you need to get the cough productive & the crud out of your system. A doctor recommended it, and it was like night and day difference for me! They are time-release tablets - so you generally need one every 24-hrs.

I still swear by Sudafed for nasal congetsion (generic is just fine, so save the $$).

Ohh poor Moon..I think we need to dunk you in some hot boiling water and sanitize you till you shine!! :)

Remember: Plenty of liquids, chicken soup (ms. Grass soup is the best)and lots of sleep will help to make you get better quicker.
