Heather Locklear Arrested!!

 Former Melrose Place star Heather Locklear has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after displaying bizarre behaviour while driving in a wealthy community in California on the weekend.

The American actress, who recently left a medical treatment centre where she had been treated for depression, was arrested after driving erratically, revving her engine loudly and repeatedly backing over a pair of sunglasses in a parking lot in the exclusive enclave of Montecito in Santa Barbara, about 4.30pm on Saturday.

Police said a witness reported that Locklear, who she hadn't recognized, had stopped on a nearby highway and got out of her car, apparently stumbling into traffic.

Sad news came Saturday when we found out that Paul Newman has died. He was 83.

The movie icon was surrounded by his family and close friends at his farmhouse near Westport, Conn..  He died after a long battle with cancer.

The blue-eyed hunk was nominated for Oscars ten times.  Newman was also known his love of car racing, his 50-year marriage to actress Joanne Woodward, and -- ofcourse-- Newman's Own.  The company made popcorn, spaghetti sauce, lemonade and salad dressing and has donated more than $250 million to charities selected by Newman himself.

Ellen DeGeneres is getting ready for that close-up.

On Tuesday's Ellen DeGeneres Show, she confirms that she is the new face of CoverGirl.

"You know how I always like to share what's going on in my life with you all, and I was going to give you some news, and unfortunately rumors started circulating all over the Internet," she tells the audience.

"I am here to set the record straight right now. I am not pregnant. It just turned out to be a bump. I went and had it checked out," she cracks. "That's not the news. I am the new face of CoverGirl."

Jolie has been named "Most Powerful Actress" in the 2009 edition of the ****ss World Records. (She jointly held the title with Jennifer Aniston last year.)

On Sunday, Justin Gaston, a model and aspiring country singer, attended church in Pasadena, Calif., with the Hannah Montana star and her family. Later that night, he hit Disney's Concert for Hope where Cyrus performed with the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato.
According to Cyrus's rep, Gaston, 20, is "a friend from Nashville." He met Cyrus, 15, earlier this year when he was a contestant on Nashville Star, hosted by her father, Billy Ray. Adds Gaston's rep, Allen Osborne, "He's visiting L.A. for the week."

Jennifer Lopez may not have clocked the fastest time, but she and the other competitors at Sunday's 22nd Nautica Malibu Triathlon helped raise nearly $1 million for the Pediatric Cancer Research Program at Children's Hospital in Los Angeles.

As reported earlier today  J.Lo turned in a seriously impressive 2 hours, 23 minutes and 38 seconds and raised $125,000 on her own for the event, which was presented by Toyota.

Hugh Hefner's alpha girl, Holly Madison, is not moving out of the Playboy Mansion. And she is not hooking up with sleazy magician Criss Angel, either.

"I really don't know where this stuff comes from," Kevin Burns, executive producer of The Girls Next Door  tells E! News exclusively. "Holly has not moved out and has no plans to do so. She is very much busy supervising and editing Playmate shoots at Playboy Studios West. She's also been working with my company on several new ideas for Playboy-themed TV shows and specials."

Calling It Quits!

Sarah McLachlan and her husband of 11 years, drummer Ashwin Sood, have hit a low note.

The singer, 40, revealed they have called it quits while promoting her upcoming greatest hits album Closer: The Best of Sarah McLachlan (out October 7).

"I'm separating from my husband, so these are the songs about that," she told Billboard.com, referring to her two new tunes, "U Want Me 2" and "Don't Give Up on Us."

McLachlan and Sood, who plays drums in her band, have two daughters, Ann Sushil, 6, and Taja Summer, 14 months.

"I wasn't planning on saying anything," McLachlan said of the split, "but it's gonna come out at some point. I haven't said anything about it because I've been terrified to, but I figure ... there's no good time to say it, so I just said it."

Eva Longoria has put an end to weeks of rumors that she is pregnant.

"I'm just fat," she said Tuesday during an interview with Le Grand Journal with husband Tony Parker.

She then burst out laughing while Parker chuckled nervously.

Star Jones and Al Reynolds have finalized their divorce.

The two - who announced their split in April after 3 1/2 years of marriage - "have reached an amicable settlement in their divorce proceeding and expect the divorce to be finalized in the very near future," Jones' rep tells Access Hollywood.
