The challenge today, can you describe your life in just six words? What would those words be? A New York magazine editor actually started this idea awhile ago and the response was so amazing that a book is now in the works. We talked about this on the air this morning and I was overwhelmed by the responses we got. I know for me it actually took a lot of thought. What I found was that boiling my life down to six words required me to sift out all the junk of my life. It gave me a chance not to just summarize my current life but also project what I want my life to say. To some what I came up with may seem 'Pollyanna-ish' but it's what I choose to focus on. So, here it is:
Blessed and surprised. Love my life.
For me it really does summarize my life as a mom, wife, woman and Christian. Not all surprises have been good, but they are mine. Not all blessings started out that way. In fact some of the biggest blessings in my life have been prayers unanswered. What I also have realized is that if I changed one event or outcome in my life I would change everything. I believe life has a domino effect and although I wish at times I'd done things differently, I don't wish to change the outcome of where I am today. As for today, I'll take the good and the bad and embrace it all.

DWTS Newest 'Couple'
From the looks of things, DWTS has another love connection. Derek Hough(22) and Shannon Elizabeth(31) are now officially an item. The two were seen snuggling on a Malibu beach over the weekend.
Have you ever noticed that all of Nancy Grace's callers say the same opening line? "Hi Nancy, love your show and your babies are beautiful!". We're thinking that it's a hoax! Someone has to be telling them what to say. No one can get that much positive, gushy love from every person who calls in. This is supposed to be one of the most hated women on TV so how can that much love keep flowing in. We're not sure, but it's our latest conspiracy theory!
I'm a big fan of Martha Stewart. Despite her legal problems and at times, attitude problem I like what she did for making home projects and gardening chic again. Being a big dog lover I was really sad for her that her dog died this week. I had seen him on the cover of her magazines and in her books a lot during the years. 'Paw-paw' was a beautiful chow but this picture is disturbing. I honestly took the picture off of Martha Stewart's blog.
'Paw-Paw' is wrapped in a sheet(?) with a bow and the other two dogs are sniffing it saying good-bye. Anyone else find it disturbing?
