I am sooo excited for this movie!! It comes out May 30th and there is so much buzz about it already. I've seen a couple of different "official" trailers but they are always lacking content. I found this one and it seems to be a little juicier. :)
Before I was a Mom,I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on, pooped on,chewed on,or peed on. I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts,I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom, I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests,or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at nigh****ching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom, I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put him down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom - I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.
Before I was a Mom - I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache,the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom. I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.
================================
Thanks to BFF Lynette for sending me this! I read it on the air this morning at 6:40 and we had so many moms and dads call and text in. Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it and feel free to pass it along.
I've decided that besides being a wife, mother and co-worker that I am in desperate need of a hobby. I would love to paint, but that requires taking a class and right now I don't have the time. I would love to do pottery, but then there is the time issue again. So, my idea...growing 'Heirloom Tomatoes'! Greg thinks I sound like an old ninny, but I think it sounds like fun. Here is a picture of what I want to grow....
I looked at them over the weekend at Byerlys and the tomatoes sell for $5.99 a pound, so just think of the money I'd be saving. :) I figure this is the perfect hobby for me. I can do at home, with Aleks if she wants and it's something that will get me outdoors. It's a small hobby but I'm thinking that with a 3 year old it's perfect for me. Any advice you have or if you want to join me in my new hobby just send me an email.
Thank you so much to everyone for coming out to the BFF KS95 'Made of Honor' movie premiere. It was a blast! I really enjoyed meeting all of you and your friends. Thank you for not only joining the BFFs but also taking the time to come out and see a cute movie. How did you like it? I actually thought it was a really sweet chick flick. I think it helps that I love Patrick Dempsey!
We will be planning on more events and try and do something at least once a month. I'll send out announcements with what is going on and then just email BFF@KS95.com if you are available. From there we'll pick random winners and get in touch with you.
Also, be thinking of what you would like to see the BFFs do. When you have an idea just drop me an email and I'll float it by the KS95 staff. This is a growing and evolving group so all ideas are welcome. :)
Have a fantastic weekend and if you took pictures last night please send me a copy.
