Lucky Day??

So I think I need to buy a lottery ticket cause today must be my lucky day!! I've never won anything in my entire life- I swear. But today has just been amazing.

So first, I was on my way into work... and I listen to KS95 most mornings. I had heard either earlier this week or last week sometime that when they had the sound affect of a whip to call in to win tickets to a showing of the new Indiana Jones movie. It was a guy thing only promotion for the morning show. Well this morning, the whip sound goes off. I figured, heck, I might as well try, never hurts to try. And low and behold, I was the 9th caller!!!! I was freaking out! Sweating like a pig I tell ya. Of course, I couldn't use the tickets for myself and so said I could give them to my husband Chris and hopefully he'd be able to use them. It's a day time showing and they get free pop and popcorn. I was actually on the radio! Never in my life... CRAZY. So I called Chris of course after I got off the phone with the radio. He's not sure whether he can go as he would have to get time off from work.... hopefully he can. And then of course he needs to find a male friend to go with as it is two tickets.

So that is the first thing that happen. Then last week sometime I had signed up for another give away KS95 was doing. This one was through their BFF club which is strictly for women. Again, never thinking I'd actually win... cause that NEVER happens to me. This morning I get in to work and low and behold there is a voicemail from KS95 promotions department that I won 2 tickets to this Fridays Saints game, which includes a pregame picnic where the mascot and a Saint's player will be stopping by. I was in shock! I think I'm still in shock! Now I am trying to find a girlfriend to go with me...... even if I can't I'll still go on my own. It's a great opportunity to meet a lot of people.

So anyhow, it's been an exciting morning and now I have to prepare for group at work. But plenty to look forward to this weekend! Plus it is a holiday weekend and so I get an extra day off. Yeah!
