I became Tom Cruise on Oprah yesterday. I lept off the couch ( okay,  jumped - fell ) like many Viking fans at the end of that game. I have not spent many Sundays on the floor three feet in front of the television until the end of the game in a lonnnng time.

Being a Viking fan means being emotionally abused if you have lived through four Superbowl losses and the '98 - '99 season. Is this finally the year? I'm not sure but it was a hell of a pass and catch. As one of my friends who was at the game stated..."That was no Hail Mary...it was a 49-yard lazer". Farve threw it from the 39 to 10 yards deep in the end zone...and it never was more than 15 feet above the turf.  Farve also was classy in saying the throw was "average" but that the catch was "outstanding".
