Last Friday, my wife Caley, my friend Jay, and I all headed to Raleigh, N.C. to go see Saturday night's U2 concert at NC State University. Below is the video that Jay put together of our trip.

A couple of notes regarding the video (which pretty much speaks for itself). We arrived just before midnight Friday night, checked in and then went out until about 3am Sat. That means I was up for 24 straight hours after doing our radio show on Friday morning.

We met two guys, Joe and Gary from Ireland in an Irish bar (imagine that) early Saturday afternoon. We hung out with them for a few hours and then met up with them after the show and were invited up to their friend's bar that he owns in Raleigh. As you can tell, Caley enjoyed the free Dom Perignon! We then went to a house party until 5:30 that morning.

When we finally left the party in some unknown neighborhood (miles from the hotel) to get a cab, a guy named Howard pulled up. He said, "Hop in", and we did! He drove us to our hotel and we invited him up to Jay's room for a beer. So there we are at 6am Sunday morning dring a Coors Light with some random dude who was nice enough to give us a lift back to our hotel.

Oh, and the concert was awesome!
