It would be great to win the birthday bucks, but doing anything other than getting my daughter ready for school in the early morning is hard! I was curious to know, what other people like to do on their birthdays. Mine is at the end of this month, and I'm really excited.

I have never worked on my birthday. I already have to work holidays (except Christmas), and I've even had to work Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day before... so my birthday is very important.

I am not big into presents though; the only things I asked for were a new dress and shoes, and that one of my parents watch my daughter and take her to school the next day. I live in Wisconsin, and so I'm going to start getting dolled up after I take my girl to school. Then I'm going out to lunch with my mom and driving up to Minnesota to see my friends and have dinner. A girlfriend of mine runs a free hold-em tournament in Apple Valley on the night of my birthday so I'm going to do that and then find somewhere to drink and sing karaoke. I think karaoke is a lot of fun, and I don't suck at it (except when I try to do an Eminem song while drinking).
