Hey everyone!!!

I was wondering what was the average price of gas in the Twin Cities now???  Where I am (Nebraska) gas is averaging about $3.95 to just over $4.  It's just nuts that $20 gives me about a quarter tank that lasts about a day or two...Yes, because I have 2 little kids I do drive an SUV (Buick Rainier)...mid-size, but I needed the room for them (especially on trips to see the family in MN).

Will this climbing price ever come down???  I don't think we'll be going anywhere far away for a while!!!

Your prices are very much in line with ours here.  The past few weeks, it's been around $3.95 to $3.99 ... and very few signs have made the leap to post $4.00, but it's so close it doesn't really matter.

It's disheartening - how the wallet takes a beating.   One of my solutions was to go from an SUV - to driving a Nissan Altima.   I bought it used and I love it!  I'm getting about 27-28 miles to the gallon, a vast improvement from my previous gas-guzzler.  Something had to give, and with all the driving I do with my kids, I needed to make changes.
