My flight from Vegas got in this morning at 6am! I know I know...I am the queen of cutting it close! Lol. I slept the entire way back and then slept for an hour at home before getting up for work. I am pooped!!! We sure had a good time though. :) I arrived Friday evening and headed straight to New York New York to meet my sister April and my parents. They, of course, had spent the entire day at the pool! Then we went to a yummy steak dinner. Saturday we played at the pool ALL day then got ready and went shopped around at The Forum Shoppes at Caesars the dinner at the fabulous Sushi Roku. Sunday we got up and took momma to a champagne brunch at The Monte Carlo...I have to say we are not "brunch" people but it was fantastic and was priced great for all the food! Even crab legs! It was at least 100 degrees so we headed to the pool again and soaked up the sun. The heat is sure draining! I didn't leave last night until 1am so we got ready and explored the strip and had dinner before I left. We don't gamble a ton but we played "deal or no deal", "Bunko" and one other progressive machine and I am pretty sure we at least broke even. (I think...hehe). All in all, I had a fabulous time with my family and I think my mom had a really nice mother's day. It was fun to be together. I have the best family EVER! I took a bunch of photos and a couple videos but I left my camera at home so I will put em up later.
Oh, on another note...I have told you about the wedding I am in July 4th weekend right? Well, it's my cousin Tiffany and she is the 1st of us girl cousins to take the plunge. HA! And yesterday we got a call from her sister Tawny and she got engaged!!! Sooo exciting. (Tawny is the one that works at Nordstrom in LA and has called with the scoop after doing events with Gwen Stefani and Justin Timberlake). It was a big weekend for all!!! hehe
I am sooo excited! I leave for Sin City right after Twin CIties Live today! I am meeting my sister, mom and dad for a fun filled momma's day weekend. I see alot of fun in the sun, fancy ****tails, shopping and fabulous food in my future! hehe This is the 1st mothers day I will have spent with my mom in years! I honestly can't remember the last time. My sister and I are still trying to come up with the perfect mother day gift for her?!?!? So if you have any fabulous ideas feel free to email me. :)

It's official...being sick SUCKS!!!!!! I remember being a kid and kina liking being home from school cuz I could watch TV all day! Not the case as an adult. Maybe it's because I had my there to take care of me when I was little? I was miserable yesterday! I needed my momma! hehe. It must have just been a 24 hour flu thing? I am feeling better today but certainly not 100%. I know Ryan took good care of ya tho. :) I am so bummed I missed Cinco De Mayo....I really wanted to celebrate with chips n salsa and margaritas! lol. My friends all went to a place that had a mechanical bull! I mean who doesn't love a mechanical bull? I hate missing out!

So today was my only day to sleep in (which I was super excited about) but there was no way that was guna happen with all that sun coming thu my windows this morning! I was up and ready for the day by 8! I have been calling and trying to wake up Ronald (neighbor) and he is finally up and ready for coffee!!! And after alot of begging he agreed to hit my new found trail on rollerblades with me! Whooo Hooo! Later I am going to brunch with Amy and then maybe meeting up Sean, Katie and their friends for "Sunday Funday"! This is guna be a FANTASTIC day! hehe.

On a totally different note...I am soooo excited to see Cabaret tonight at the Ordway. The Ordway is one of my favorite places to see a show and I have always wanted to see Cabaret. Perfect combo huh? Julie is coming with me and I am hosting a little pre-party with all my fabulous winners. I will take lots of pics.
