Queen of the Cougars, Demi Moore, 46, will seemingly do anything to keep up with 30-year-old hubby Ashton Kutcher. Moore's a huge fan of a detox treatment called leech therapy. Yes. You read right. Leech therapy! Demi visited a spa in Austria that offers it as part of their services. The 'highly trained medical leeches' attach themselves to you and detoxify your blood. According to Moore, it is so effective that she's going back for more! Demi fancies herself a 'health' trailblazer. "I feel like I've always been someone looking for the cutting edge of things that optimize your health and healing," she says.
She explained it in detail last night on Letterman! She must be doing something right cuz she looks freakin HOT but I dont think I will be trying this anytime soon. Nasty!!!!
Well my weekend in Le Sueur was a blast! I arrived Saturday afternoon and began what we are now calling, "Stuff My Face Fest" 2008! HA! Holy moly...Julie's mom had food galore! Julie and I even cooked a little, ok so we made some dips for the chips but that's a start right? Then her dad ran into town to some place that has chicken wings and got us a bunch of wings to try. Later her mom made lasagna...yada yada yada! Their cuz Bryant and a couple friends came over and for the rest of the night drinks, snacks and games were a flowing! Her dad Gregg is like the Wii expert so he taught me some tricks...tho I still got by butt kicked! hehe. The next morning we awoke to fresh baked sticky buns, coffee and her mom told Julie, Brian and I to hunt around the house for our Easter Baskets. How cute is that?! The Easter bunny left us treats and scratch tickets and I won 12 bucks! All the aunts/uncles etc... came over around noon on Sunday and we enjoyed a yummy Easter feast, chatted and then played games again. I left around 7. I was pooped when I got home. BUT as my mom had mentioned, the "Montana Easter bunny" didn't forget me. :) Man I love that bunny!
I am off to LeSueur (about 45 mins south) to be with one of my best friend Julies family. They are so much fun, they remind me of being with my family. Anything goes! HA! I know tonight we are having "game night" and her mom is making lasagna and then a big ol' feast with all of her extended family tomorrow. My mom told me to run home and check my mail real quick before I leave to see if the "Easter Bunny" came. :) I love it! Have a wonderful holiday weekend with your family and friends!
Last night I hosted a little Jane Eyre pre-party for winners at The Guthrie and then Julie and I went to the show. It was my 1st time actually seeing a show at the new Guthrie. Wow, its fabulous! BUT before that I met Julie at Matty B's to grab a quick bite and who was there eating with his fam (I think it was his fam)? Non other than Mr. Matt Birk himself!!!! (Vikings player who owns the joint) I didn't stalk him or anything but he was definatly there. Lol. It's nice to see a "well behaved" Vikings player out and about! HA!
