A Canadian provincial judge found Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger  guilty of DRUNK DRIVING yesterday.  In June 2006, Kroger decided to drive his $175K Lamborghini at 160km/hour down a Surrey, Canada street with a blood alcohol content exceeding .08. His reading was a .14.

The frontman didn't appear in court during his fragmented trial, which was heard in Surrey in November and January.  Kroger's lawyer Marvin Stern asked the judge to postpone sentencing until the appeal process has run its course, but the judge declined - he wants the singer in court for the sentencing on May 1st.

Stern said his client is in Europe, recording or producing music. "I'm not exactly sure (which)," he said.

Or at least that is what one fella must have thought yesterday afternoon! I was on my way to the gym minding my own business (YES...I made it to spin class...aren't you proud of me?) AND low and behold this guy catches my eye while I am at a stop sign. He was facing a cement block of some sort and holding on to keep his balance...THEN I notice that his pants where down to his knees! I didn't want to look, I really tried not to but I HAD to know what this nasty dude was up to! And yes, after further investigation I realized he was tinkling! And it was being done in such a crude way! I mean I couldn't see ANYTHING, if you know what I mean, BUT you should have seen the look on his face...he was enjoying it! YUCKY! I wanted to take a photo to show you guys but I thought maybe that would be taking it too far?!?! HA! Geez, people really are ridiculous!

I am so excited that we kicked off the Twins Baseball season with a WIN! Especially against Tori Hunter! hehe I spent my morning on the Dome Plaza for "Breakfast on the Plaza". (make sure you check out the video's on my video page). I was brushing elbows with a couple of well known twins peeps...Harlem Killebrew and my personal fave, Wally the Beer Man! A band was playing, we handed out hot dogs for breakfast and I gave away some tickets (thanks to Wally!!). It was a super fun way to kick of baseball season! I could have done without the snow though!

After work yesterday I went to McDonalds to get some Red Box movies (you just can't beat $1 rentals) and headed home for the big snowstorm. :) I rented Sydney White (total girly girly chick flick) and Atonement which I was too tired to watch so I will tonight after Spin class. Please God give me the energy and self control to get my bootie to class! HA!

This is sooooo sad!  Corinne's Saxophonist husband, Jason Rae, 31, was found dead in his apartment in the U.K. last Saturday.  The singers hubby was the victim of an apparent drug overdose.  A police spokesman said officers arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.  He has since been released on police bail. 

Here is the statement she released.....

“Corinne Bailey Rae and her family have been touched by the huge amount of love and support that's flooded in from all over the world, and that is really helping all of us cope at this terrible time. Corinne is also very grateful for the privacy she is being given and the respect that has been paid to herself and Jason.”

It's amazing how much sunshine makes a difference in your mood. I am feeling like a million bucks today! I am even wearing a dress...ok....I am wearing my tall Uggs with it... BUT its still a spring-ish skirt! I am soooo ready for my spring/summer wardrobe. I think in honor of that tonight I am guna put all my winter clothes away and bring out the new ones! I guess that means I should probly clean my condo too. I am not kidding....my place looks like it has been hit by Hurricane Dez. There are clothes flung from my living room to the back bedroom. Not cool! hehe. I haven't even unpacked my suitcase from Cabo last month. Don't judge...I am a busy girl! Lol  Ya know, I think before I get all gung ho on cleaning I will swing by Thunders happy hour at Legends. HA! We will see if this cleaning/organizing/getting summer clothes out thing really happens?
