What a perfect day to kick off KS95's G6 Summer! I was up bright and early (6 am) at The Holiday in Wayzata for our VERY 1st sticker stop. Thanks to everyone who came by. I am sooooo ready for a nice long weekend! I work tomorrow but I am off Sunday and Monday! I don't have plans set in stone (which is kinda nice) except for Sunday is Julie's brother Brian's birthday so we are gonna spend the day at the race track and bet on the ponies! hehe. The Varsity is one of my fave venues to see a show and she was fantastic! Krystle (from promotions) and I took our fabulous ks95 VIP winners back to meet Marie before the show and she was such a sweetheart. She told us it was the very 1st stop on her very 1st tour so she was stoked! Then we went and sat in out cushy VIP section and watched her opening act Eric Hutchinson and loved him. Honestly I hadn't heard of him and am guna download his CD asap! Then I introduced little miss Marie and she came out and sang her heart out. I took a couple videos (of Eric AND Marie) and they are up on the video page. :)
Just like Fergie! lol. I went to a circuit training class last night and also got my butt out of bed this morning for a 6:15 CORE class. I am telling you right now that by tonight at the Marie Digby show at the Varsity I won't be able to move! My abs are soooooo sore! I am really gonna do my best to keep this up. Please God give me motivation and self control!!!!!! :)
Yesterday was a CRAZY busy day! After I got off the air here I headed downstairs for Twin Cities Live and then hit the road to Eden Prairie to MC the 3rd annual SAVE (suicide awareness voices of education) Paul Douglas Celeb fashion show at Bear Path Country Club. I rubbed elbows with some BIG TIME local celebs! hehe. First off I want to say what a wonderful man Paul Douglas is! It was my 1st time really meeting and chatting with him. He even gave me flowers! :) He does alot of work with SAVE and I look forward to the next one! Our models included Jeff Passolt (FOX9) and his family (his wife Lisa brought her awesome dance team), Marni Hughes (Fox9) and her family (her little girls couldn't be cuter), Fox9's chief meteorologist Ian Leonard and his family, Esme Murphy (WCCO TV) and her daughter and a bunch of fabulous radio peeps! It was such a blast and really neat to see everyone come together for a great cause. The people who put this event together (including one of my good friends KJ) work really hard to make it happen. Today after work I am guna go on a little run if the weather cooperates! Later meeting friends for dinner. Tomorrow KJ and I am going to yoga, MAYBE rollerblade if we still have energy and then go have a yummy brunch as a reward! hehe
