Dear Diary.....
Happy St. Patty's Day! I totally forgot to wear green. Opps! I wonder if I am guna get pinched? Isn't that whats supposed to happen? Or was that just a way for little boys to flirt with you in grade school? HA! Oh and today is Moons birthday too. So happy birthday big daddy! He will probly be the only one to pinch me! lol
My weekend was pretty mellow except for Friday. Katie picked me up and we headed to our friend Cotty's going away party (she's moving back to Peru) at Chino Latino. There were so many people there for her! I am super bummed that she is leaving BUT I will be seeing her soon cuz we are both bridesmaids for Kelly's wedding next summer. And hey, you never know, maybe I will have to make a lil trip to Peru. How fun would that be? Anwho...after Chino Katie and I headed to her brother in laws birthday party. I know...I am such a party animal, two partied in one night! HA! I worked Saturday morning, ran some erronds and just laid low and made dinner. FYI...DO NOT EVER use fat free half and half as a substitute in a recipe! I totally ruined what would have been a fabulous meal. Thank goodness I had some wine! :) Sunday I went to a benefit for my good friend Todd. He just got done with chemo and is now cancer free baby!!! Then I had an appearance at Cub Foods in Maple Grove then I headed home. I am totally addicted to DIRT on FX and Keeping Up With the Kardashian's on E!. So that took up my Sunday night.
This after noon I am finally getting my taxes done from my friend Natalie. (I am such a slacker) I am meeting KJ at circuit training at 5:15 and then I see green beer in my future! :)

Last week was a fun one! My friend Matt White (new artist, you'd love him) was in town Tuesday and I went to dinner with him and the band. They were in town for a show at the Varsity Theatre Wednesday night. A bunch of my friends and I went and I even sang with them!!!! It was soooo cool! I wish I could do that every night! Maybe someday. Hehe.
So what did you think of the Oscars last night? I was excited for an award show since its been so long but I have to be honest I got a little sleepy right after the Best Actress award and left my party and went to bed. Hehe. I had never even heard of the movie that the best actress was from? Though my neighbor Ronald had a fabulous little Oscar party. :) Gotta love an excuse to have a shin dig, right?
Ok...the rest of my weekend was super mellow. I was fighting a cold and thought it would be best to lay low and try to feel better. Friday night I hung out at Katie's house and had sooooo much fun playing with her 3 year old son Caden...I think he was really missing his, "auntie Dezzy"! HA! Then we ordered pizza and watched "Elizabeth" and "Elizabeth: The Golden Ages". Great movies! I worked for most of the day Saturday then just hung out at home and was sound asleep by 10...it felt so good!!! Sunday I worked out and then had an appearance at Verizon Wireless. After that, Todd and Jess (from promotions) went and grabbed a bite to eat then Todd and I went to Ron's party.
I FINALLY got a couple photos from my Cabo trip and I will get them up today. :)
Hola from sunny Cabo San Lucas! I will be back to work on Monday with lots of great stories and photos for you. Gotta get back to my cerveza by the pool. :)

I had the best, most relaxing day in the whole wide world yesterday! Well at least in the evening. :) I worked, went home, worked out then took the longest bubble bath I have ever taken. I had time to read my new Cosmo magazine cover to cover then read my new US Weekly. hehe. I was so relaxed and tired afterward I went right to bed (at like 9...). Holy beauty sleep! I think I needed a low key night like that. Every girl does!
So Monday night (like I mentioned) I was in the recording studio and we started cleaning up the vocals and added drums to my, "Tell Me Something Good" remake. It's such a fun song. I am just dying for you all to hear these other songs!
Tonight it's dinner with Julie, Joe and Mike. We try to get together at least once a month but with the craziness of the holidays I honestly can't tell ya the last time we all hung. Yummy food and drinks are always involved with the four of us. lol. Not sure where we are going tonight.
On a sad note...I was shocked to hear about Heath Ledger yesterday. I am sure everyone was. It just breaks my heart thinking that his little girl is going to grow up without her daddy. I really don't remember ever hearing that he had a drug problem???? It is such a different world they live in and there are so many stories going around right now it will probably be some time before we know what really happened. My thoughts and prayers are with his family
