Last weekend was SOOOO fabulous! Friday, after Twin Cities Live I headed home to get ready for my big night out with Ronald and the boys! Ron and I went to dinner and then met the boys for drinks before the BIG show! Ron got me a Kathy Griffin ticket months ago for my birthday (which isn't until the 19th but I love to start celebrating early...LOL) Our seats were fabulous...like 10 rows back, smack dab in the middle. Yep...he did good. :) Thanks Ron! On Saturday, I worked on the air until 2 and then Katie, Joe and I headed to Joe and Mike's cabin in Holcombe, WI. Mike was there waiting for us with wine and apps. Man I love that! Needless to say I had a hard time sticking to my, "eating healthy food" this weekend! We went to some fun little bars around there and then called it a night. Sunday we took the pontoon (against Mike's rain warning) across the lake to a place to watch the game. This is what it looked like on the ride home. (insert photo)
Mike was not a happy camper! It was freezing but we laughed and laughed. We ended up staying Sunday night and watching the Sex & the City movie and came home early on Monday morning. Yes I was exhausted. All in all it was such a great weekend filled with great friends. I am a lucky girl! :)
